We’ve been finding July 4th fireworks scheduled for as early as June 29, 2024 this year. Since the holiday falls in the middle of the week expect to find Fourth of July events the weekend before and after the holiday.

We are always excited for the Fourth of July in New Jersey! Bike parades, fireworks, barbecues and festivals usher in the official start of Summer in the Garden State.

Since this year the holiday falls on a Thursday night, you’ll find plenty of events to enjoy on the 4th, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before July 4th, the week leading up to it, and in the weeks following July 4th. Not all the July 4th events in New Jersey are on July 4th.
