What’s the Difference Between the Morey’s Piers Piers?

Posted on: April 6th, 2020 by

You can’t walk onto the boardwalk at Wildwood and not see the Morey’s Piers piers – the iconic Ferris Wheel, the huge roller coasters and the high thrill sling rides.

Morey’s Piers and Water Parks in Wildwood is a Jersey Shore must do family attraction that offers games, arcades, thrill rides, water rides and plenty of fun for everyone. Morey’s occupies three piers across North Wildwood and Wildwood, and all sit on the FREE Wildwood beach making Morey’s one of the most fun places to visit for families during the summer.

The abundance of piers and water parks can make a trip to Morey’s Piers piers overwhelming and confusing. Morey’s Piers is so HUGE! With those THREE piers full of amusement parks and water parks it can be hard to decide where to start.

We recognize that, right now, there are restrictions on traveling. We can’t go to the places we’d love to visit. But we know this won’t last forever. Restrictions will be lifted and we’ll all be out and about and making new memories with our family. That’s why Jersey Family Fun writers continue to work behind the scenes developing content that will help you when that time comes. Please be safe and keep reading.

We can answer those questions for you! We are yearly Morey’s Piers visitors (both as media guests and at our own expense) and are here to help! Where to start, what kind of tickets to purchase and where to eat, and what’s the difference between the Morey’s Piers piers, we have all the details for you here.

A day or night on the boardwalk at Wildwood is a rite of passage for every vacationer but if you have limited time you’ll want to choose the right stop(s). Surfside and Mariner’s Piers have boardwalk games, arcades and snack stands.

You’ll see from our listing below the height restrictions for rides, so depending on how young your kids are you may want to steer toward a pier that can give them their best ride experience. Want to ride a few rides after a day at one of the water parks? We include the location of the water parks and nearby rides below also.

Hours vary for the parks and pier rides, but generally you can spend from 10 AM – midnight on your visit Morey’s Piers trip. Combo passes for both water park and rides are offered AND you can use the water park and ride piers on different days! This is the best option as it can be a LONG day.

Joining the family at the piers but not riding? Check out the Parent’s Pavilion where you can take a rest and have a meeting spot with the thrill seekers. Not to fret though, there are plenty of benches throughout the piers with all those stunning beach views.

Our personal favorite is Mariner’s Pier, the ferris wheel is a must see and if you can handle the heights the view is unmatched. It’s also in the middle of the boardwalk and a good starting spot to wander north or south to the other piers. I have a tween and a teen but I think it’s the best pier for little ones also.

Morey’s Piers offers Ticket Options For All Kinds of Thrill Seekers

Morey’s Piers ride piers are open to all who want to experience the boardwalk! Stroll around and go on a ride or two with single ride ticket options, or ride all night with one of their ride pass specials. Tickets don’t expire! If you have Morey’s tickets from vacations past bring them and they’ll load them onto a card for you. The water parks, which are at the far end of the two piers, are admission only.
