Cunningham Park playground is colorful, bold, accessible, and offers kids lots of ways to play. It’s a great option for families looking for a playground in Vineland.

Where is Cunningham Park Playground located?
Cunningham Park playground is located at 1676 N. West Avenue in Vineland New Jersey in Cumberland County. The park is part of the Vineland park system.

What kind of playground equipment does Cunningham Park have?
Cunningham Park offers two sets of playground equipment. There is a newer accessible piece of equipment that is blue and red in color. There is an older playground just a few steps away that is green, yellow, and red.
Are there swings?
Unfortunately, there are no swings at Cunningham Park playground. It looks like there was a space for a swing on part of the playground equipment. However, as of June 1, 2022, there was no swing attached.
Are there slides?
Both playground structures offer two slides each. All the slides are straight and open.




What special features does the playground offer?
The Cunningham Park playground offers step stools, ladders, climbing areas, a tunnel, and more.

What kind of ground cover does the playground offer?
Under the newer playground equipment are colored foam-like squares for the ground surface. At the older playground, there is wood mulch.


Is the playground at Cunningham Park fully accessible?
The newer Cunningham Park playground area is accessible, the older area is not. There are two wheelchair-accessible ramps up to the playground equipment. One quick note, at the time of our visit (June 1, 2022) the front ramp was a few inches off the ground. There is a second ramp on the opposite side that is flush with the ground.


The newer playground offers sensory play areas and activity centers like games, sign language signs, and more.



Is there shade available at the Cunningham Park?
There is not a lot of shade at Cunningham Park. The one spot of shade is at the picnic tables under a large tree.

Where is parking for the Cunningham Park Playground?
There is a medium-sized parking lot at Cunningham Park. There is an additional lot located near the baseball fields.

Are there restrooms at the Cunningham Park?
There was a wheelchair-accessible port-a-potty towards the entrance to the parking lot. There may be additional restrooms across the street at the Little League baseball fields.

What else is there to do at Cunningham Park?
Besides the playgrounds at Cunningham Park, there are not a lot of other things to do there.
Are there walking trails?
There were not any walking trails.
Are there fields or courts for sports?
There are a few traditional baseball fields and one accessible baseball field at Cunningham Park. There is also a batting cage and lots of green open grass.
