What can Toddlers and Preschoolers do at Sesame Place? (Photos Included)

Sesame Place is a delightful family day trip whether you’re coming from New Jersey or you’re local to the area. This was my and my family’s first time going since I was a kid! Sesame Place is designed with little kids in mind. At other theme parks there are so many things that are off limits for the little ones. At Sesame Place, the entire park is designed with a younger age group in mind. It makes the day run so much smoother knowing there is so much toddlers and preschoolers can do at Sesame Place.

We had a great day exploring all Sesame Place has to offer for the toddler preschooler crowd. Thank you Sesame Place for providing the complimentary park tickets, Dine with Elmo tickets, and Abby’s Magic Queue wristbands for the day. Don’t wait to plan your visit! Water Play for Preschoolers and Toddlers at Sesame Place

Although not all of the water rides were not open when we visited the ones that were open were plenty of fun. Sesame Place was still preparing to open some of them for the season. Both of my older kids (4 and 5 years old) said Big Bird’s Rambling River was their favorite. They loved floating along on this lazy river type of ride!

Big Bird’s Rambling River

This is a not-so-lazy river that you can travel around in a tube. It’s a relaxing opportunity to get a tour of the park. A handful of the inner tubes have a bottom to sit toddlers and smaller children. We also appreciated that this attraction had multiple points where we could exit before the official end of the river.

Bert and Ernie’s Splashy Shores

This area is a water play area full of excitement! Kiddos can expect to see a water curtain, tipping buckets, spraying jets and a spraying water tower.
