Book Festival in New Providence 2023

New Providence Book Festival

New Jersey authors will sign books and talk to visitors at the New Providence Book Festival. Located on the grounds of the historic Salt Box House, the festival will include a series of presentations by authors.

  • 10:00am – Children’s story hour
    • Nadja Springer, Sue Steinhardt, and Selene Castrovilla will read from their children’s books, “The Big Adventures of a Little Tree”, “This is Tap: Savion Glover Finds His Funk” and “ImperfectPhil is a Friend.”
  • 11:00am –
    • Historical mystery novelist Mally Becker will make her presentation, “Bringing the Past to Life One Spy, Mystery and Murder at a Time.”
  • 12:00pm –
    • Novelist Elissa Matthews will speak on “Three Kinds of Historical Fiction – Which One Calls to You?”
  • 1:00pm –
    • Susen Edwards will speak on “Writing Your Own Memoir”
  • 2:00pm –
    • J.R. Bale will talk about “Turning the Voices in My Head into Novels
  • All these authors will be available for book signing. Other authors signing their books include Linda Barth, Michelle Cameron, Michael Stephen Daigle, Steven Farkas, Sarajane Giere, Tom Kranz, Nev March, Linda Raedisch, Eileen Harrison Sanchez, Kal Uddin, and others.
