Just because you are small doesn’t mean you can’t do big things. What are some big ideas your children have? What do they want to be when they grow up?

About the Turbo Movie

From the makers of “Madagascar” and “Kung Fu Panda,” “Turbo” is a high-velocity 3D comedy about an underdog snail whose dreams kick into overdrive when he miraculously attains the power of super-speed. But after making fast friends with a crew of streetwise, tricked-out es-car-goes, Turbo learns that no one succeeds on their own. So he puts his heart and shell on the line to help his pals achieve their dreams, before Turbo-charging his own impossible dream: winning the Indy 500.

I thought the movie was very cute with an underdog named Theo who likes to be called Turbo. He watches something like Nascar every night before going to bed. He ‘trains” and espires to be like one of the drivers. The driver always talks about how no matter what dream, no dream is too big and no person is too small for that dream. During the day however he does the job of a regular garden snail, picking the best and juiciest tomatoes, and eating them of course. My children laughed a lot during the movie and I hope that the saw the bigger message. That they too can do anything they put their minds to and I will be right there to help them and support them in whatever dream they choose to pursue.

Reasons we liked the Turbo Movie

  • The important messages behind the Turbo movie.
    • You can do anything that you put your mind to.
    • Dream big even though you may be small.
    • Hard work and determination do pay off, don’t let anyone tell you that you are crazy because you dream big.
  • There were many different characters with funny quirks.
  • Turbo characters were kind of like the different characters you saw in Disney’s Cars in Radiater Springs, this time its a tiny strip mall.
