Toms River Veterans Recreation Complex – Ocean County Parks & Playgrounds
4 Reasons my Family Loves Toms River Veterans Recreation Complex
- This park is jammed pack with so much to do. I love a park that allows me and my family to spend an hour or more outdoors playing and enjoying the fresh air. This park has 2 large playgrounds, a merry go round, boat rocker, balance beams and a jogging/walking/bike path. Pets are welcome on the path, so you truly can bring the ENTIRE family!
- This park is fairly new, only being built a few years ago. The playground surfacing is rubberized pour and play, and not wood chips! Even on the hottest of summer days my daughter’s feet and hands stayed cool and her body uninjured when she took a few tumbles running from one jungle gym to another. The park is beautifully maintained, from the grass, to the playing fields, to the bathrooms and bike path, everything is clean and well kept.
- My daughter’s favorite thing to do at the park is to ride the boat rocker. This piece of equipment gently sways the children back and forth and holds up to 8 children comfortably. Along with the boat, she also can’t get enough of the merry go round, which for me brings back such happy memories from my childhood.
- The park is set on the grounds of the softball complex so all throughout the equipment you find decor and activities pertaining to baseball.

We don't have that information. I would recommend contacting the Toms River parks & recreation department directly. - Jenn
