What is There to Do in New Jersey with Kids Today?

What is there to do in New Jersey with kids today? When my boys were younger, I asked myself that very often. In 2008, I had 3 boys 4 years old and under and I had made the decision to stay home with them. So I was always looking for something to do with them.

I felt like there had to be so much to do in this big old state of New Jersey if only I could find it. I would search online looking for things to do in New Jersey with kids today and my searches would come up pretty empty.

I learned about most New Jersey activities through word of mouth or by being very observant. We’d visit a store and I’d see that they were hosting a crafting class or make-and-take workshop that weekend. I’d grab the library’s calendar of events every time we would visit. I’d stumble across a printed brochure of events from our local county parks.
