Our Weekend in the Pennsylvania continues

Monday, we told you about our latest Weekend in Pennsylvania and our overnight visit to the Mountaintop Lodge. During our weekend-long media trip, we had the pleasure of being treated to not one but two dinners at the Clubhouse at Lake Naomi.

The Clubhouse offers a great environment for having dinners with friends or your family. During the winter months, they offer fine dining with a view of the lake. During the summer months, you can enjoy fine dining inside or more casual dining on the deck. Either way you get a great view with a fabulous meal. The Clubhouse is also for guests of the Lake Naomi Club only whether you are renting a home in the area or staying at the Mountaintop Lodge, you are able to make reservations.

The food was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised by all the gluten-free options the restaurant had.  Dining out while gluten-free is still new to me, but the Clubhouse Restaurant made it easy by using a symbol on the menu to designate what options were gluten-free. There were options in most areas of the menu. And while I didn’t have my children with me on this trip, they do have a children’s menu.

The first night at the Clubhouse I had the Pan Seared Salmon Filet and yes I made a big blogging mistake, I didn’t take a picture. I was so hungry and it was so delicious I just forgot. I can tell you though that other guests I was with had it the second night and were just as thrilled with it. It was such a tasty and filling meal. All entrees came with salad and side dishes.

The second night I had the Chargrilled 8 0z Agnus Fillet Mignon and it was just as delicious. This time, I remembered to take a picture. I was so stuffed from both great meals that I passed on dessert. I guess I’ll have to save room next time.

In full disclosure, this is a sponsored post from the Lake Naomi Club. We were provided with a room , meals, and admission to Poconos activities at no charge.  These things were arranged so that we could review the Lake Naomi Club as a family vacation destination.  However, our opinions are honest and based on our experiences in the Poconos.
