Hersheypark is one of my favorite theme parks; I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate? But there’s more to a Hersheypark family vacation. Taking the kids to Hershey can mean a day riding rollercoasters at Hersheypark and feeding blueberries to bears after dark at ZooAmerica. A Hershey vacation can include an afternoon of tasting different chocolates at The Hershey Story museum, creating your own candy bar at the Chocolate World, or exploring the new Chocolatetown. It’s a vacation that can include walking among the butterflies at the Hershey Gardens or walking among the arena (indoor or outdoor) to see the local team take on their rival. There’s so much to do in Hershey, you just have to stay the night.
I’ve had the pleasure of staying at both the Hershey Lodge and the Hershey Camping Resort, both are fabulous! The Hotel Hershey is on my bucket list. But sometimes those Hershey properties don’t have the availability you want. Sometimes the accommodations aren’t as spacious as you need.
