“You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book.” – Dr. Seuss

We all love to encourage our kids to read. When they tell you about a story they read and how it affects them, it’s a completely rewarding moment as a parent. A great way to encourage more reading is with reading rewards! We love all the summer reading programs offered by libraries and stores, but did you know there are rewards for year round reading too? Every so often we find out about another new, exciting reading program that rewards kids for reading. We wanted to make you aware of the reading programs for summer reading, some that run during the school year, and some reading incentive programs that work directly with the schools.

Check out what we’ve found both locally and nationally to get your kids wanting to pick up a book this summer and all year round!
