Southard Park – Somerset County Parks & Playgrounds
3 Reasons my Family Loves Southard Park
- Beach Volleyball! Yes, you do not have to go down the shore to gather up some friend and enjoy a game of beach volleyball and have actual sand between your toes! Southard Park has it’s own court ready to use.
- Unintimidating playground structure! Toddlers through young elementary school age will love this structure and parent will feel safe letting their kid(s) play freely. The slides and the monkey bars aren’t to high or steep where I felt I had to worry. The best part was a covered bench area where I could watch my son play the entire time.
- There are plenty of basketball nets on their court so bring your own ball and enjoy!
