Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” restaurant, brings its fresh approach to burgers to the Ocean County area with the opening of its first location on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Brick Plaza, 1060 Cedar Bridge Ave., Brick, New Jersey.

Why We Enjoyed the Smashburger Brick restaurant

  • You order your food at the counter and then your food is brought to your seat. Its a blend of a fast food and a sit down restaurant.
  • The staff was incredibly friendly, offering refills on our drinks, making sure we had everything we needed, and clearing our plates from the table.
  • The food was high quality, juicy, delicious and fresh.
  • Our veggies were crispy, our burgers were cooked to perfection, our SmashFries had just the right amount of seasoning.
  • There was something for everyone, including some gluten free items.
  • A member of my party is unable to eat breads, this was not a problem just tell them when you order to hold the bun and they will deliver your burger an a fresh and crispy piece of lettuce
  • The kids loved smashing their burgers to fit in their mouths, smashing is all part of the appeal of visiting Smashburger Brick.

How a Smashburger is made

  • Every burger at Smashburger Brick is a fresh not frozen ball of 100% certified Angus Beef.
  • The ball of meat is then SMASHED on a hot buttered grill.
  • By smashing the burger on the grill you sear it locking in all the juice.
  • Once the burger is smashed it is seasoned and plated.
  • When your plate arrives add the top of your bun and toppings onto your burger and SMASH!
  • There are 8 Smashburger signature recipes including a Create Your Own Burger option that make the possibilities at Smashburger. endless.
    • Classic Smash
    • BBQ, Bacon & Cheddar
    • Truffle Mushroom Swiss
    • Spicy Baja
    • Avocado Club
    • Bacon Cheeseburger
    • Spicy Veggie Black Bean Burger
