What’s Going to Happen to my Season Pass & Prepaid Tickets?

Posted on: April 23rd, 2020 by

With our tri-state area under stay-at-home orders many of our favorite places to go and family attractions are closed until further notice. It’s heartbreaking news and if you’re one of the many holding season passes or prepaid tickets to these locations you may be concerned.

What’s going to happen to the tickets you’ve already paid for? What’s going to happen to your season passes that you haven’t had a chance to use or worse yet that you can’t use because the location is closed?

Are you out the money? Can you get a refund?

We understand your concerns. We’ve been surfing the web and reaching out to the locations to find you answers. We’ve organized and listed the information below by location. Before you worry though, please know that most locations have or are making plans so that no one has to lose the value they’ve already paid.

Ticket expiration dates are being extended. Days are being added to annual passes and season passes. Keep reading to find out what’s happening at our location attractions.

One thing to keep in mind

If your tickets were arranged by a third-party, including travel agents or travel-booking websites contact those suppliers directly to understand their policies and any applicable fees for changing or cancelling a reservation. Many are not charging cancellation fees but you would need to check with your source directly.
