Regal Cinemas has announced their Summer Movie Express for the summer of 2019

If you’re the parent of little ones, one of the most highly anticipated movie events of the summer ISN’T the latest blockbuster. It’s the Regal Cinemas Summer Movie Express schedule! Our Jersey Family Fun readers anxiously await the lineup each summer as this series is a budget friendly way to get your kids in a cool theater on those hot days. And anything goes, as it’s geared toward kids who might need to get up and move, or haven’t yet perfected their whisper.

Over the course of 11 weeks New Jersey Regal Cinemas will show select G & PG rated movies for only $1 a showing, Part of the proceeds of admission will benefit the Will Rogers Institute. The movies will be shown on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 am.  The movies for each week are shown on BOTH DAYS. All movies are rated G or PG.

“Moviegoers of all ages can enjoy an incredible list of films with a wide variety of choices from animated features to live-action stories about nature,” stated Ted Cooper, Senior Vice President of Film for Regal Entertainment Group. β€œIt’s great to see all of the kids and parents who make good use of this summertime fun.”

    I called the North Brunswick one this week and they said they are not participating. I’m really bummed about that. You may want to verify and then take them off the list.

    Hi, I was looking for regal Hadley, south Plainfield schedule but I don’t see anything online. Do they follow the same movie list? What are the timings and when foes it start?

    This is a wonderful thing to do, so many things these days cost so much money that many people don’t have and this will allow many people to plan ahead activities for their children/ grandchildren. I hope to see all of mine this summer thus will be on our list thank you regal

    Do the movies start at only 10 AM or the movies just begin at 10 AM

      Shayla, I am not sure I understand your question. Let’s see if this helps. Tuesdays and Wednesdays Regal Cinemas shows two different movies (as listed on the schedule). Both movies start at 10 am and are $1 per ticket. Any other movies showing that day are regular price.
