The BEST 75 New Jersey Farms for Picking Pumpkins

Posted on: October 11th, 2019 by

Are you searching for where to go pumpkin picking in New Jersey?

Let us help.

September marks the start of my favorite season of the year, fall! Fall is the season for jumping into piles of colorful leaves, grabbing a cozy sweater for a brisk autumn walk, and choosing that perfect pumpkin for carving or painting – or both! We love to get outside in the cool air, carve some pumpkins and scoop out those guts and get messy! Well not all of us, but painting them is fun too. However you choose to display this year’s pumpkin find, you’ll find the perfect one at one of these New Jersey pumpkin farms.

Pumpkin farms are of course a great photo op, but they’re also great for exercise too. Try to get your kids to find the one that’s the biggest, that has the most unusual colors, or has the most bumps on it. The great thing about living in New Jersey is that we have so many different farms to choose from – check our list for one near you that maybe you didn’t know was there!

We’ve created this list of great farms for pumpkin picking in New Jersey where you can pick your own pumpkins from the field. Take a look and find the perfect farm for your family. Hopefully one of these farms will be the perfect place for you to enjoy some “Jersey Family Fun” this fall. If you do visit one of the farms from the list make sure to tell them that you heard about them from Jersey Family Fun. We would love if you post a picture of your family’s pumpkin creations on our Facebook page, and tell us where you got it!

New Jersey pumpkin picking farms can receive a complimentary listing or an upgraded featured listing by contacting Jennifer Auer, publisher at Jenniferauer@jerseyfamilyfun.com.

Jennifer Auer is the hyperlocal mom blogger who runs Jersey Family Fun. From New Jersey, this mom of 3 boys just can’t sit still! Her husband likes to say she’s a work-at-home mom who never stays home. Jennifer started traveling as a child and hasn’t stopped since. Instead of letting her husband and boys slow her down, she brings them along! Did you know that boys behave better when they are out exploring? As her boys transition from tweens to teens there’s still so many places she wants to discover with them both across the U.S. and internationally. She has been a Jersey Girl for 20+ years, and a Jersey Mom for 8+ years and a New Jersey mom blogger for 10 years, although she'd much rather be referred to as an influencer or just by name. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship from Bryant University in Rhode Island.
