These North Jersey New Year’s Eve kid-friendly events are on for 2023/2024
- Madison New Year’s Eve event – Stryxe Madison appears to be permanently closed.
New Year’s Eve Family Fun, 3 hours of bowling and a special menu. 5:30 – 8:30 pm or 9:30 – 12:30 pm. - Sparta New Year’s Eve event – Sparta Lanes is offering family-friendly New Year’s Eve bowling parties at 5 pm and 7:30 pm. - Freehold New Year’s Eve Event – Ring in the New Year at iPlay America’s annual New Year’s Eve Celebration! Bring the entire family and enjoy a night of rides, party favors, games, live DJ, and giveaways! Admission starts at $42.99 when tickets are purchased in advance. South Jersey New Year’s Eve Events for Families
These South Jersey New Year’s Eve kid-friendly events are on for 2023/2024
- Avalon New Year’s Eve Fireworks & Celebration – Avalon intends to present a fireworks display on December 31st, 2023 to help ring in 2024! There will be face painting, a dance party, refreshments, and more. Learn more here.
- Atlantic City New Year’s Eve event with fireworks – New Year’s Eve fireworks in Atlantic City are back. At 9 PM on the Boardwalk, Tropicana will dazzle the sky with a vibrant firework performance. Free. You can learn more about it here.
- Camden New Year’s Eve event with fireworks – The Battleship has several New Year’s Eve events with fireworks for families. What I’ve always loved is they offer an early evening and late evening fireworks shows, perfect for families with little ones that need to get to bed earlier in the night. This year there will also be fireworks on New Year’s Day. Learn more on their website.
- Collingswood New Year’s Eve event – The Pop Shop is holding a New Year’s Eve Party for kids with Anna and Elsa! Find more information here!
- Glassboro “Noon” Year’s Eve Party, and Show! Event at Robert J. Novins Planetarium– The Planetarium does not currently have a “Noon” Years Eve event listed on their calendar. Check back on their website for more updates!

- Hammonton New Year’s Eve Bash & Giant Blueberry Drop– In Downtown Hammonton, in front of Town Hall at 100 Central Avenue when the town clock strikes midnight the Giant Blueberry will drop! The free event starts at 11 pm. Get the details from their event listing on Facebook!
- Jackson New Year’s Eve event with fireworks at Six Flags Great Adventure – Six Flags Great Adventure will have a fireworks show for New Year’s Eve. Fireworks are free with theme park admission, Season Pass or active Membership. If the fireworks are anything like they were in September, they will be phenomenal. - Lower Township Family New Year’s Eve Party – Lower Township will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Family Celebration on December 31st. Check out their calendar for more information.
- Ocean City New Year’s Eve event – First Night Ocean City, First Night offers more than 70 opportunities to catch 30 different shows and activities at 20 venues throughout town. - Wildwood New Year’s Eve event – Mudhen Brewing Company offers a milk and cookies toast at 6 PM, along with a balloon drop and more. Registration is required. Visit their website for more information.

Philadelphia New Year’s Eve Events for Families
These local New Year’s Eve events for families are in the Philadelphia area.
- Fireworks on the Delaware River Waterfront, Penns Landing New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront are back, free and in-person to welcome 2023. The two shows — one at 6 p.m. and one at midnight — are sound-tracked by KYW Newsradio, so tune in to 103.9 FM, or hear the music and see the brilliance of the fireworks in person from speakers set up at Penn’s Landing and outside Rivers Casino. - Franklin Square Holiday Festival, The most family-friendly celebration in Philadelphia begins with music and crafts at 5 pm before the Square Drop at 6 p.m. Find out more from the event listing.
- Please Touch Museum Annual Countdown to Noon Celebration, Join the Please Touch Museum for a morning or afternoon timed ticket session that includes two-and-a-half hours of play at the Museum, activities, and a ball drop with confetti as we celebrate 2023 in style! Learn more at their website.
