New Mrs. Green’s Natural Market Opens in New Jersey by Making a Difference to our Communities

Posted on: March 31st, 2014 by

This is a sponsored post from Mrs. Green’s Natural Market. We appreciate
their support of Jersey Family Fun that allows us to share with
families information about where to shop for all-natural, organic products.

How exciting is this?

First, we have a Mrs. Green’s Natural Market (www.mrsgreens.com) opening their first store in New Jersey, as of last week. Located at 64 Princeton Hightstown Road, West Windsor: Mercer County families have another option for finding all-natural, organic foods to eat and get your kids cooking in the kitchen.  The store kicked off things last week with a spring celebration to introduce the new store to the community. They officially opened last Friday.

Giving back to the community right from the start

If that wasn’t enough Mrs. Green’s Natural Market is giving back to our communities from the get go. The new Mercer County all-natural food store will donate five percent of proceeds during the store’s first week up to a total of $10,000 to America’s Grow-A-Row. Grow-A-Row is a New Jersey nonprofit helping local families through planting, picking, rescuing and delivering free, fresh produce to food desert areas in New Jersey.

Local, natural, organic foods, locally produced, for local families

Offering natural, organic products that is locally sourced is the primary focus for Mrs. Green’s, which partnered with Philadelphia-based nonprofit Fair Food to identify local vendors who could help reach this goal. Local residents got to try in-store samplings from these vendors last week during the grand opening celebration.
