This post was sponsored by Miller’s Smorgasbord who provided dinner for my family to enjoy. We appreciate their support of Jersey Family Fun that allows us to share with families Pennsylvania restaurants we think your family may enjoy.
We do a lot of travel as a family for Jersey Family Fun, and we have eaten in a lot of restaurants on the road. As the mom of three kids, I tend to appreciate the restaurants that serve a variety of kid-friendly food without taking up hours of our time. On our recent trip to Lancaster, we had our Friday night dinner at Miller’s Smorgasbord and it was exactly what I appreciate in a family-friendly restaurant.
Dessert, anyone? After seeing this spread, we never wanted to leave Miller’s Smorgasbord!
Miller’s Smorgasbord is a buffet set-up with two sets of stations for each food variety to help minimize lines. There were plenty of options of for us to choose from, with a salad bar and soup station, to an assortment of hot foods like our favorite of chicken and waffles. The most impressive part of our meal by far was the dessert station. There were lots of sweet treats available and plenty of fresh fruit for someone looking for a healthy option. My boys loved taking the baked apples and creating their own “apple pie” by scooping vanilla ice cream on top.
With fun décor (check out that Amish buggy INSIDE the restaurant!) and friendly staff, Miller’s Smorgasbord is a fabulous spot for a meal while you’re in Lancaster. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we’ll be sure to visit again the next time we come to stay in the Lancaster area.
My boys were thrilled to see this buggy inside of the restaurant at Miller’s Smorgasbord in Lancaster.
