Michaels Passport to Imagination offers so many exciting and fun crafts for kids to enjoy!

Are you looking for a fun and affordable activity for your kids? Do your children love making crafts and being creative but you find there aren’t enough hours in the day?

If the answer to both of those questions is “YES” then I have the perfect program for you!

Michael’s Kids Club offers interesting and unique crafting experiences every Saturday from 10:00 am – 12 pm. The best part is that it is only $3 per child to participate!

Michael’s Kids Club offers a solution to these common parent problems. By the time kids get home from school, complete homework, eat dinner, and play with friends it’s time for bed. My other big problem is I get to the craft store with the kids ready to make a new project but then get distracted by what they are doing and forget part of what is on my list. Michael’s has come up with a solution to my problem, making our weekend trips to the store a bit easier and making craft time at home just a bit more fun. We can’t wait to try the new techniques we will learn at the kid’s clubs.

Michael’s Kids Club program runs on Saturdays, for a $3 fee your kids can create a project while you shop. Each kids club session lasts about half an hour. You have the option to let your kids explore their creativity and make the project while you grab what you need or to sit and relax with them for a few minutes before tackling your craft list. We have attended a few of the Michael’s make and take events and always leave smiling with new ideas and a new craft.

Here is some information about the Michaels Kids Club and why we LOVE it so much:

  • Each week kids will make & take a new craft with all supplies provided by Michaels Craft Stores.

  • Employees are on hand to assist you and your child in making their masterpieces.

  • Each craft is unique and involves different skills and supplies.

  • Children learn a variety of art skills as well as an appreciation for different cultures.

  • The crafts often go along with upcoming holidays.

  • The finished products make great decorations in your house as well as fun gifts for grandparents.

  • Registration can be done in advance, but it is not required.

  • Michaels Kids Club Tickets can be easily purchased at any Michaels register.

  • Children ages 3 and up are welcome, but I have also seen 2 year olds enjoy the projects as well.

The Jersey Family Fun moms have been taking our kids to Michaels Kids Club Saturday craft programs ever since they were little. They love every Michaels Kids Club project we have made. Some are proudly displayed on our Art Wall. Some are hanging on the refrigerator. We have some framed around the house, while others have been gifted to loved ones. Michaels Kids Club allows kids to expand their knowledge in art, enhance their creativity, and increase their fine motor skills, all while having fun and being social.

You could purchase a craft kit to do at home … or let the experts at Michael’s work with your child to create a fun masterpiece. Set your kids up in the in store classroom at your local Michael’s and take some time for yourself to shop! Please note these projects cost $3 to complete and also require in store registration. All events are 10 AM – 12 PM.

MAKE Breaks

Add a little something special to your weekend shopping trip. The Make Breaks are a great extra to the kids club activities! A popular offering is seasonally themed slime. Parents must stay with children during these events. These vary in cost (but are generally free) and availability may vary by store. Call your store to confirm.
