Michael Lepp Park & Splash Pad – Somerset County Parks & Playgrounds
3 Reasons my Family Loves Michael Lepp Park
- The splash pad of course! Where else do you want to be on hot days but NEAR WATER and the sprays and splashes of Michael Lepp Park are perfect! There are small in ground sprays for toddlers, and buckets that dump for the older kids. Have a water fight with the two moveable sprays, or run through the arch that sprays water all over. We went in with clothes on and had fun anyway! The splash pad is NOT fenced.
- There’s a playground structure for when you’re done getting wet, or when the weather isn’t hot enough for water play. It’s low enough for younger kids, but diverse enough for older kids who like to climb.
- Again, on a hot day, you want shade! There’s a nice shaded grassy area where you can picnic or just relax as the kids splash around. This park is across the street from a convenience store so if you forgot snacks no worries. It’s also near some of the great events put on by Downtown Somerville, so be ready to make an afternoon of your visit!
