5 Reasons my Family Loves Kingwood Township Park

  • The playground has two different types of climbers perfect for my toddlers and preschoolers. My toddlers loved the swirly slides while my preschooler enjoyed the various fireman poles.

  • The sandbox was a huge hit with my kids. They loved the trucks, shovels and buckets! My son was so thrilled to build a castle and knock it over! I loved that it was very clean.

  • The large grassy fields were perfect for my children to explore. They even found a small stream and old wooden bridge. We enjoyed searching for frogs and minnows.

  • Lots of trees around the park, but the playground does not offer a lot of shade. However, the best spot to have a picnic was in the open grassy area.

  • We loved the walking trail that circles the playground, part of the trail travels through the wooded area and along Lockatong creek.
