Kid Street – Somerset County Parks & Playgrounds

3 Reasons my Family Loves Kid Street

  • There are several play areas. Whether you have a toddler, preschooler, grade school child or tween there is something to do for everyone. Toddlers (and even infants) will enjoy swings built for them, small slides and the sandbox. Preschoolers and grade schools kids will love roaming the large Kid Street play areas that have slides, tire swings, large wooden structures to climb through, a wooden pirate ship to explore (what other park has a pirate ship?!) and zip lines (guess what, these zip lines will even let mom and dad join in the fun).

  • Shaded picnic tables, both at the park entrance and off to the side, where there are trees and an area to kick a ball around or to gather with other friends for a play date.  This is a great place to take a break from the sun, sit down and enjoy a packed lunch.

  • Kid Street park is large and completely fenced in which helps if you are keeping track of more than one kid. It’s also less than a mile from Bridgewater Commons Mall and I use this park often as a ‘reward’ for helping me do errands at the mall.
