Jersey Family Fun’s Summer Kick Off Party
One of our favorite things to do at Jersey Family Fun is to host family fun days that are either free or almost free for our readers. On Friday May 16, Jersey Family Fun and the Tuckerton Seaport kicked off summer with a day filled with fun, family entertainment at the Tuckerton Seaport.
Activities for families included painting flatties, sea animal touch stations, fun photo booth by Mad Cris Images Photography, summer crafts, food sampling by Happy Family, Alex’s Lemonade Stand and entertainment by Jason Didner of Jungle Gym Jam and a performance by The Juggling Hoffmans.
Refreshments were provided my McDonald’s of Little Egg Harbor who also surprised everyone with a special visit from Ronald McDonald. Ronald McDonald introduced himself to each kid and took time to chat, play and interact with all those in attendance.
Jason Didner of Jungle Gym Jam led the kids in two fun sets of family friendly music. The kids loved dancing along with Jason and especially enjoyed playing with the puppets. Many of the parents were seen tapping their feet to the music and even a few got up to dance to fun songs like The People Exhibit at the Zoo.
The Juggling Hoffmans wowed the crowd with there juggling skills and tricks. Kid volunteers got to be apart of the juggling act. One of our favorite tricks was when the Hoffmans juggled while passing a hat back and forth, in a game of “who took my hat”.
Families had fun posing for fun pictures with Mad Cris Images’ Summer Photo Booth. Kids loved striking poses and showing off for the camera.
Prizes for this fun day were provided by Hasbro, Educational Insights, Tuckerton Seaport and others. The Sahara Sams Sambulance brought along their prize wheel and gave away goodie bags with each spin.
It was great to see so many families enjoying a day of fun at The Tuckerton Seaport.
