Win Tickets to Kean Stage ArcAttack

Are you looking for something that will highlight how science can ROCK?

How about electricity, rock music, and a stage show that will amaze?

Don’t miss ArcAttack coming to the Wilkins Theater at Kean University!

Kean Stage ArcAttack

We are always looking for something different to experience with our kids and if it’s educational, that’s a bonus! When we heard about ArcAttack performing near our home, I knew it was something my whole family could enjoy. Using scientific concepts of electricity, robotics, and magnetism to make music, ArcAttack is not some boring science lecture! We are excited to partner with them to promote the show they are bringing to Kean Stage on April 30 at 3 pm! Keep reading for our giveaway for 4 tickets to a lucky reader as well.

Check out this YouTube video of how ArcAttack gets kids excited about science!

Maybe you saw ArcAttack on America’s Got Talent, but don’t be fooled – this is serious science! Standing on stage with 12 foot electrical arcs flying around needs a lot of scientific knowledge to keep the performers safe. But they’re not just standing around – they’re making some unique music! They use drums, guitars and keyboards to join in with the Singing Tesla Coils to create a rock concert with some impressive light displays. I’m curious to see their computer controlled drummer – King Beat!

If you’ve ever seen a demonstration of a Faraday cage you know how amazing it is to watch someone being hit by lightning but protected by the metal cage. Imagine there’s no cage, only a metal suit as he stands between the Tesla Coils. That’s how the ArcAttack guitarist performs and it promises to be as electrifying for the audience too! There’s a narrator to describe all the scientific principles as they happen, so the audience can follow along as the action happens.

The Kean Stage ArcAttack show is perfect for grades 3-7, but suitable for anyone who wants to see some feats of science and hear some rocking music. That sounds like my family and we are eagerly anticipating the April 30 show!
