In full disclosure, this is a sponsored post. We appreciate Johnson’s Corner Farm’s support of Jersey Family Fun and our efforts to share local activities with our readers. As always all opinions are our own.
The air is crisp, the temperatures have dropped and the leaves are falling!
It’s time to enjoy these Johnson’s Corner Farm fall activities.
In our house it’s not October until we’ve picked an apple (or 70) or painted a pumpkin. Sure, you can get them at your local grocery store but memories aren’t made in the produce aisle. Not to mention that obligatory family photo in the pumpkin patch! This year, why not head to Johnson’s Corner Farm in Medford where you can get your apples, your pumpkins, and your photo but so much more! You can visit their website with this link.
Top 6 Johnson’s Corner Farm Fall Activities for Families
Munch on Apple Cider Donuts
Growing up in central New Jersey we always headed to an orchard for fresh apples but that was it. There wasn’t anything else going on there, not even the now standard apple cider donuts.
- Apple Cider donuts are made fresh daily and through out the day.
- They are $7.95 per ½ dozen.
Get your donuts and so many other delicacies at Johnson’s Corner Farm! There’s the sticky but irresistible caramel apples, the comfort of apple pie and something called an apple cider slush that has me heading there ASAP to try it out!
Pick apples
Maybe you’d rather make your own apple confections and you’re just there to pick the best apples around? That’s available too, of course, and at $1.89/pound for the freshest apples you’ll ever taste, be ready to load up your car for apples for days! You can pick Empire, Red or Golden Delicious, Stayman, Fuji, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Cameo or Gold Rush. Varieties and supply will vary so check the Johnson’s Corner Farm Facebook page before heading out.

Find your way in the Johnson’s Corner Farm corn maze
We didn’t have apple cider donuts back in my younger days of apple picking and we certainly didn’t have corn mazes! Now it’s one of our family’s fall to-do’s! The Johnson’s Corner Farm corn maze is open September- October and is a stop on their hayrides. The corn maze is “family friendly” so it is not very long or difficult to navigate. Take home a pumpkin
Picking the best pumpkin is a rite of passage – will it be too heavy to lift or just right? Round or oval? Long stem or no stem? Whether you’re painting a happy face or carving a scary jack o lantern the Johnson’s Corner Farm pumpkin fields will provide plenty to choose from and the hayride will help you get it back home! Your porch will look its best!
