Looking for a fun activity to do with your baby or toddler?

Hunterdon County is full of amazing places to visit that bring fun, excitement and interaction for babies and toddlers.

BabySteps Classes at Hunterdon Medical Center

BabySteps is a parent support group that meets to discuss issues important to new parents. It is a great place to meet other parents, too. No registration is required. The fee is $6 a week and can be paid at class. If you are expecting, you are welcome to come for free to meet other moms and find out what to expect once your baby arrives. For more information, call 908-788-MOMS

  • BabySteps 1 (for parents and infants, birth to six months, meets weekly on Thursdays)
  • BabySteps II (for parents and infants six to twelve months, meets the first and third Thursday of the month)
  • Toddler Steps (for parents and toddlers 1 to 3 years old, meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month)

Liberty Village Outlets

My kids love the mini playground and the quarter rides! It’s a great place to bring a stroller and walk around.

Schaefer Farms

Visit the friendly farm animals, take a stroll through the mini corn maze or play in the sand pit.

Library Babies

Recommend for ages 6-24 months. Story time includes a picture book, finger plays, and songs. Please click here for more information.

Toddler Time at The Riegel Ridge Community Center

This free form gymnasium class is designed for children ages 1 ½ through 5 to run, hop, skip, jump, dance and tumble. Our equipment helps to develop balance and coordination while our group parachute games are a great way to interact with others. This is a parent/guardian or nanny and child participation class. We ask that you aid in your children’s exploration of our equipment and gymnasium. This class provides children the ability to explore while making new friends in a positive and friendly environment. Please click here for more information.

Califon Bookshop

Offers story-time every Tuesday at 10:30 am with a craft following the story and snack.
