Hedden County Park- Morris County Parks & Playgrounds
3 Reasons my Family Loves Hedden County Park
- The trails for walking, bike riding, or hiking are impressive! We weren’t able to fully experience them during our quick visit, but we have plans to return soon, with bikes! There are parking lots throughout the main road, so each visit you can choose a new spot to start and end.
- The playground kept my 10 year old daughter occupied! It’s small but there’s a few interesting features. I enjoyed it because the creek next to it has the wonderful sounds of running water, and you hear little else in that spot. It’s possibly the most relaxing playground I’ve ever visited!
- Hedden Pond is truly beautiful! When we arrived there were ducks and geese and rumors of a turtle poking its head up. It makes a beautiful backdrop for photos, and is just a perfect place to sit and enjoy nature. Fishing is allowed there as well!
