Are you looking for a restaurant that will treat your kids like rock stars AND offer healthy food choices?
If your answer is YES, then let me tell you about the Hard Rock Cafe’s new options for kids.
I’ve always loved the fun atmosphere of the Hard Rock Cafes. How can you not love seeing memorabilia from musicians we grew up with and hearing their music as you spend some family time together over a great meal? So of course when we were invited for a visit with some of our blogging friends, there was no way we were passing it up.
As the kids got settled in looking at the new Hard Rock Roxtars kids’ menu options, we learned about how their new Kids LiveWell option was created with nutrition in mind. Now kids can order old time favorites or try out a new healthier option. The Kids LiveWell program was developed by the National Restaurant Association and Healthy Dining to meet specific nutritional criteria established by leading health organizations. The initiative showcases the restaurant industry’s commitment to offer healthful options for children; over 42,000 restaurant locations have committed to providing families with a growing selection of healthful children’s menu choices. Hard Rock Cafe’s Allergen-free Options

The chef or manager will come out to speak with you to discuss allergen-free options for you or your children.
Hard Rock Cafe’s Roxtars
Hard Rock Cafe knows kids love music and the idea of being rock stars. With that in mind, Hard Rock created Roxtars, a band of five musical cartoon characters that will serve as Hard Rock personalities at their different properties: hotels, restaurants, etc. At the Hard Rock Cafe kids will be introduced to them through the kids’ menu as well as a special activity book that keeps kids entertained as they wait for their meals.
Each character has a distinct personalities representing what makes each of us unique.
- Razzi™, “the motherly type” who is famous for squishy hugs and keyboard skills
- Sir Kingston™, a British-invasion inspired rock-and-roller on lead guitar
- Styler™, a free-spirited and accompanying guitar player
- Buddy Jr™, a wild man who loves nothing more than a good drum solo
- Skiddley™, the lead singer and “Mr. Cool” of the group.
