Hackettstown Community Playground – Warren County Parks and Playgrounds

Hackettstown Community Playground

3 Reasons My Family Loves Hackettstown Community Playground

  • It’s small enough to keep track of all your kids. The playground is contained to a pretty small area. You can easily sit on one of the benches and be able to see all your kids at once. This is very helpful when you have a 6 year old that wants to be on all the big kid stuff and a 3 year old who wants to stick to the smaller equipment.

  • It has 2 long metal parallel bars. My daughter spent most of her time at the playground on the parallel bars. She pretended she was at dance class, then she pretended she was a gymnastics. She had her little brother sit on the side and watch her show. Such a simple piece of equipment was able to be used in so many different ways. Those bars provided so much entertainment and imaginative play. Another child might look at the same equipment and use it for something else entirely.

  • It provides a lot of climbing opportunities. The playground is pretty equipment is pretty compact but it is very high. This allows for lots of climbing practice. Throughout the play structure there are lots of opportunities to climb. There are metal climbing walls and small rock walls. My daughter loved checking them all out.
