3 Great Ways to Spend a Spring Day in Salem County New Jersey
Go for a Hike or Bike ride at Parvin State Park
Parvin State Park is hands down one of my favorite places to get outside in the spring. There are several hiking trails marked with different colors. If you have a stroller or bikes, you can stick to the paved Forest Loop Trail, or go off-road around the lake on the Orange Trail. A map is available at the main visitor center.
Parvin State Park is also a great place to spot turtles sunning on fallen trees or go fishing.
Plan a Family Camping Trip at Yogi’s Jellystone Resort
We love Yogi’s Campground for our kids because it’s close to home, there are plenty of activities, and they love to say hello to Yogi and Boo Boo. My kids are young and going to Yogi has been a great introduction to camping for them. They especially love racing Matchbox cars down the track.
You can visit the campground’s website to see a schedule of themes for each weekend.
