World Water Day Festival in Pennington 2023

World Water Day 2023
Join us for this free event to celebrate World Water Day 2023!
Each session will offer games, explorations in our lab, outdoor water-themed arts and crafts, a vernal pool exploration hike, visit microscopic critters that live in our water, and meet a fish up close and personal at the touch station. Try a sample from the Water Bar — small cups filled with drinking water from local towns and wells – and vote on which one you think tastes the best. Learn about the importance of protecting the local water ways and the various actions you can take to keep the water clean, safe and healthy. World Water Day is an annual United Nations event, started in 1993, focusing on the importance of water.
Patches will be available for purchase in the Nature Store on World Water Day.
There are two sessions: 10:00am-12:00pm and 12:30pm-2:30pm.
