South Jersey Wind Ensemble Concert in Somers Point

From Classics to Jazz with South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble
Monday, August 26 – 7:30 p.m.
For 21 years, the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble (SJAWE) has been delighting audiences across the region with its concert music. In 2017 SJAWE celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington. DC. This concert will consist of small groups of members of the Ensemble, which is comprised of 75 individuals from the community with musical backgrounds including music teachers and professional casino musicians. Music will range from classical to Dixieland. The group received the 2006 Sudler Silver Scroll Award from the John Philip Sousa Foundation, which recognizes outstanding concert bands in North America.
This concert is free to the public, with limited seating available.
