Schoolage Story Time – Howell
May 15 @ 4:15 pm - 5:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 4:15pm on Wednesday, repeating until June 26, 2019
May 15 – Sherlock Holmes Day – Craft. Make a detective magnifying glass and investigate Donald Sobol’s “Encyclopedia Brown: America’s Sherlock Holmes in Sneakers”
May 29 – LEGO Book Club. Read any Cam Jansen book by David Adler, talk about it, and make a LEGO creation. Books are available on display. Save a memory of your design on Mom or Dad’s smartphone.
June 5 – Fishy Astronauts – Craft. Make your own paper fish bowl and pretend the fish are on the Internationa Space Station. You can make them smile or float upside down.
June 12 – Get Your Gummy Greenhouse Gases! – Craft. Build a model of gas molecules using tasty gumdrops.
June 19 – Constellation Jar – Craft. Use black construction paper and a pencil to punch out constellations and glue to a jar.
June 26 – Galaxy Slime and LEGO Playtime. Add glitter to slime for a starry slime playtime.
