Philly Schuylkill River Tour

Your journey commences from West Deptford’s Public Boat ramp, embarking on an exploration of the scenic Schuylkill River. Whitman Marine Training will venture up the river to the far North/West, offering breathtaking views of the iconic Philadelphia Art Museum and numerous notable landmarks. Prepare for a delightful experience that blends the beauty of nature with urban charm.

This cruise promises an intimate encounter with Philadelphia, providing a unique perspective that no other tour can match.

You can even choose to time your cruise to coincide with the sunset, allowing you to savor the mesmerizing sunset along Philadelphia’s waterfront.

The boat tour is suitable for those 8 years old and older.

September 13 @ 11:00 am – 9:30 pm

Philly Schuylkill River Boat Tours are 3 hours long and offered daily until October 15. Tours are offered at 11 am, 1:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 6:30 pm.

  • Boats are skillfully operated by a USCG licensed captain.
  • A dedicated boat crew member will assist with boat lines, serve refreshments, snacks, and attend to any additional needs.
  • Take control of the onboard Bluetooth sound system to enhance your journey.
  • A cooler stocked with essential iced beverages (water, cola, ginger ale) is at your disposal.
  • Basic paper utensils, cups, plates, and paper towels are provided.
  • *Available Add-Ons:
    • Indulge in a delightful charcuterie tray.
    • Try your hand at magnetic fishing with our kits.
    • Stay extra comfortable with our boat kits.
    • Capture memories with a Go-Pro or Polaroid rental.
