Holiday Open House & ‘An Old-Fashioned Christmas’ at Nitschke House

December 8 @ 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Visitors to Kenilworth’s historic Oswald J. Nitschke House “living history” museum and cultural arts center (49 South 21 Street) on Sunday, Dec. 8, between 12 and 5 p.m., will have an opportunity to tour the historic site (c. 1880) authentically decorated for Christmas in the late 19th-/early 20th-century style, meet and take photos with Santa (from Victorian times) and visit the site’s Christkindlmarkt marketplace featuring handcrafted gifts, baked goods and other holiday treats.

Anyone who wishes to do so is invited to bring, for the Nitschke House Community Cultural Heritage Tree, an ornament representing his/her family heritage, and labeled as such, in continuing an annual tradition.

Admission is free.
