Nature Storytime for Garden Sprouts 2019
Welcome to Garden Sprouts!
The Garden Sprouts program is designed to allow children ages 3 to 7 the opportunity to explore the Duke Farms Community Garden. Topics will capture the beauty and intricacies of the garden as the season progresses. Each class will include a story and a related garden theme investigation.
Registration and story time begins in the Farm Barn Orientation Center. Participants then enjoy the 5-minute walk to the Duke Farms Community Garden for the remaining class time.
Garden Sprouts is offered Sundays. Garden Sprouts runs from May 5 through the Fall.
Class sizes are designed to be small for instructional purposes. Please register only if you are certain to be able to attend, and please contact us if your plans change. We would love to have as many children enjoy the classes as possible!
Please note that the Community Garden does not have paved pathways. Classes will run rain or shine. Come dressed in appropriate clothing and footwear. One or two adults for every child registered.
Please check in at the front desk at 9:15. All Classes run promptly from 9:30 to 10:30am.
