North Arlington National Night Out
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, North Arlington will be celebrating the 41st Annual National Night Out Against Crime. On that evening residents are encouraged to get outside to meet and greet your neighbors. Residents should also leave a porch light on overnight as a sign of neighborhood spirit and unity against crime.
Chief of Police, Scott M. Hedenberg of the North Arlington Police Department is encouraging residents to have a BLOCK PARTY on National Night Out. As an incentive to organize a block party, the first 10 blocks organized will receive a free BBQ package courtesy of the North Arlington Police Crime Prevention Unit and The Arlington Diner.
North Arlington Police Officers and Elected Officials will visit your block party with giveaways. If you wish to organize a block party please stop by the North Arlington Police Department for an application.
