Monday Movers
Join April Oleksy a volunteer from the Friends of High Point State Park for a new series of hikes called the Monday Movers.
Please bring water and insect repellent. Hike may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Please stay home if you aren’t feeling well, your help is greatly appreciated.

- The trail itself is approximately 4.5 miles long down and back, but we will be hiking to Lake Rutherford and back making it approximately a 3 ½ -mile hike that will take about 2 hours. The terrain ranges from easy to moderate and the trail surface at times is rocky and uneven, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Meet at the Appalachian Trail parking lot located about a half mile south of the park Office on Route 23.
