Lower Township Summer Concerts

Lower Township Department of Parks & Recreation Presents the return of the Free Family Summer Concert Series at the Cape May – Lewes Ferry Terminal Green.
Concerts run weekly every Wednesday evening starting July 29 through August beginning at 5:30 p.m. and wraps up at about 8:30 p.m. Guests are invited to bring a beach chairs, blankets, picnic snack and enjoy an evening of live music and the best sunsets.
Please remember, carry-in alcoholic beverages are not permitted. There are no rain dates. The July 29 show will feature Yellow Brick Road, an Elton John tribute band.
“We will be following all safety protocols and guidelines from the State of New Jersey and the DRBA for these events,” said Lower Township Mayor Frank Sippel.
All concert guests must be pre-registered in order to attend. Concert registration will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week for that week’s concert, registration is at Lower Township Hall from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and from 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at the Lower Township Recreation Center. Concert wristbands will be distributed at this time. Wristbands must be worn for admission to concerts. If you cannot visit Township Hall please call 609-886-2005 extension 112 or 153 for assistance.
At the concerts, families and friends are permitted to congregate in groups of up to 6 people within their social distancing designated areas. Groups and individuals are required to maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet apart at all times. Masks are mandatory on DRBA property while not seated within your social distancing designated area. Self-screening must be done home, including temperature and symptom checks, prior to attending concerts.
