Interpretive Trail Hike at Rancocas
August 2, 1:30-2:30pm

Join a Rancocas staff person or volunteer for an interpretive hike through our varied habitats. It’s a great way to become familiar with our well-maintained trails. Bring a camera and/or binoculars; we’ll stop at scenic spots along the way. The easy pace is suitable for all ages; please use a child carrier to transport small children.

There is no charge for this program, but donations are encouraged.

NOTE: This program respects social distancing and space is limited. Masks are mandatory, but we’ll take breaks to “de-mask” and drink water, take a breather, etc.

Important: Regarding Rancocas Public Programs and COVID-19

All public programs at Rancocas Nature Center this summer will be held outdoors, and will respect social distancing. Because of this, there is a maximum participant capacity for all programs.

The only way to register for public programs at Rancocas this summer will be through Burlington County Parks Civic Rec. Please do not show up to a program without having registered online first.

Each public program listed below has a registration link that will take you to that program’s sign-up page on Civic Rec. From there you can either sign-in to your existing account, or create a new account, and then register. Each person, adult or child, attending a program will need to have their own account.

Each of our programs listed on Civic Rec also has a waiting list, so even if a program is listed as full, you can still sign up for it, and then get notified if a space opens up.

It’s important that all program participants register via Civic Rec to help things run smoothly during these challenging times. We’d hate to have to turn people away that haven’t registered and who show up to participate in a program that’s already full.
