- March at Deer Path, Cedars Pavilion: Rocks & Minerals – Rocks and minerals make up the inorganic part of our environment. Come and learn what the differences are between rocks and minerals. We will examine the rock cycle, perform some quick experiments, and identify some mystery minerals.
- April at Echo Hill: Field Insect Study – We will examine what makes up an insect and discuss the roles that they play in the environment. Students will then have the opportunity to collect and examine live insects from our meadow.
- May at Echo Hill: Stream Study – The ecology of the stream can tell us a lot about our surroundings. Join us for this activity and be prepared to get your feet wet as we collect and examine some of our freshwater macroinvertebrates and conclude what they tell us about Echo Hill.
