This spring & summer Passaic County Parks & Recreation will be hosting a variety of special events at one of their two fire pits: Camp Hope and Rifle Camp Park.

- April 19 – Camp Cryptid @ Camp Hope – The Legend of Bigfoot
- Join us for a family-friendly night around a crackling campfire, where Passaic County Park Rangers retell the first campfire stories of Sasquatch! Hear how the Legend of Bigfoot began in an oral history of American folklore.
- May 17 – Night Owls Environmental Education with Lokai Rose @ Camp Hope
- The environmental educators of Lokai Rose will lead activities all about nocturnal animals that kids can find in their own backyards!
- June 21 – Night Hike @ Rifle Camp Park
- Join the Passaic County Parks & Recreation staff a nighttime hike in search of all the creatures that become active in the forest after the sun sets.
- July 19 – Miss Jolie Children’s Concert Rifle Camp Park
- Join highly energetic Miss Jolie for silliness, stories, music, and fun! She brings a twist to classic children’s music in addition to original interactive songs.
