Yes, sea turtles really do swim along the Jersey Shore. Find out more and ways to protect these endangered ancient reptiles during this informative power-point presentation at the Seabrook-Wilson House in Bayshore Waterfront Park, Port Monmouth. FREE!
Roving Golfzilla at Tatum Park-
Saturday, September 19: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Come to the Tatum Park Red Hill Activity Center, Middletown, and see if you can hit golf balls through the hands, feet, or mouth of Golfzilla. All are welcome. This is a non-instructional offering, however, if needed we will teach you the very basics of the golf swing. All equipment is provided. FREE!
Humane Education: It’s Cool to Be Kind
Saturday, September 19: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Learn why it is important to speak up for animals, and what to do when you see an animal being mistreated. You will also learn the difference between a therapy and a service animal, what to consider when adopting or rescuing an animal, and how to properly meet an animal that you are unfamiliar with. Held at the Freneau Woods Park Visitor Center, Aberdeen. Open to ages 9-14, with adult. FREE!
Smocking Demonstration at Historic Longstreet Farm

Sunset Seining at Bayshore Waterfront Park
Saturday, September 19: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Join us at Bayshore Waterfront Park in Port Monmouth for this hands-on nature program. Discover what lurks in Sandy Hook Bay when the sun goes down as we drag a long net through the water. Please bring a flashlight. Closed-toe shoes are required. Meet on the beach the Seabrook-Wilson House. Weather permitting. Limited to 40 participants; first come, first served. FREE!
