From the Office of the Absecon Chief of Police:
After discussions with City officials, it has been decided to permit the tradition of Trick-or-Treating on October 31, 2020 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Please remember we are in the midst of a pandemic. Respect others and please adhere to appropriate COVID-19 guidelines. We understand this is an exciting tradition for children in Absecon. We encourage parents/guardians to make responsible decisions based on their own judgement. For residents who do not wish to participate, please turn off your porch lights and don’t answer your door. Members of the Absecon Police Department will be out ensuring your safety. Have a fun time, Happy Halloween!
