About Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time

From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.

Meg Murry is a typical middle school student struggling with issues of self-worth who just wants to fit in. The daughter of two world-renowned physicists, she is intelligent and uniquely gifted, as is Meg’s younger brother, Charles Wallace, but she has yet to realize it for herself. Complicating matters is the mysterious disappearance of Mr. Murry, which has left Meg devastated and her mother broken-hearted. Charles Wallace introduces Meg and her fellow classmate Calvin to three celestial beings (Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit and Mrs. Who) who have journeyed to Earth to help search for their father, and together they embark on their formidable quest. Travelling via a wrinkling of time and space known as tessering, they are transported to worlds beyond their imagination where they must confront a powerful evil force. To make it back home to Earth, Meg must face the darkness within herself in order to harness the strength necessary to defeat the darkness rapidly enveloping the Universe.

My 9 year old’s A Wrinkle in Time movie review

A Wrinkle in Time is about a girl who loses father a goes on a quest to save him. In the beginning it just shows flash backs about her father. Then Mrs.What its comes to Meg’s house. I think the movie is a great and exciting movie. But it’s a little scary because the it was coming. When Meg found her father I was really happy because I thought she wounded find him. But when Meg’s little brother was evil it was crazy. So I hope you like the movie.

My tween’s A Wrinkle in Time movie review

I liked The Wrinkle in Time movie because it teaches how family is important. Through deep and dust families need to stick together and this movie proves that. Meg travels throughout the universe to find her father, who has learned how to teleport by just thinking and finding the right frequency. Over all, The Wrinkle in Time movie is a great movie and I rate it 4 and a half stars. I think it also deserves 95% Rotten Tomatoes. The Wrinkle in Time is a great movie for the whole family. Now, go see it!

My teenager’s A Wrinkle in Time movie review

I just saw A Wrinkle In Time, and I have to say, it was good. I’m not going to give spoilers. The movie is about a girl who doesn’t fit in who finds herself while saving her father against a dark force. The movie was based on the book by Madeleine L’Engle. But you don’t have to read it to enjoy the movie. I thought the editing was amazing and the creators did a great job on it. Along with the super acting, It followed the story pretty well, but not exactly. It had some differences to it. I rate the movie 4 stars. Even while some scenes are rough when the characters see something scary or a time when things get loud. I still think it is a great movie to see with family. It helps teach the lesson of love and persistence.
