3 Reasons my Family Loves Castle Playground

 

• Location, Location, Location. Castle Playground is located adjacent to the Egg Harbor Township Library on the grounds of Veterans Memorial Park which is home to baseball fields and hockey courts. This makes for a lot of activity with only having to get out of the car once. There is also a smaller playground located in between the hockey court and the baseball field. On a crowded day this was the perfect spot for my toddler to play.

 

• The old school feel of a wooden playground. When I was growing up wooden playgrounds were all the rage, now a days they are harder to find. I love being able to watch my son explore a playground that reminds me of the ones I grew up with.

 

• Lots to explore. Castle Playground is huge and has so many different areas to explore. The park is a sprawling castle but also has a pirate ship. There are plenty of great places to hide and explore’ which is why a game of hide and go seek always seems to be in progress when we are at the Castle Playground.

The Castle Playground is located at 2153 Ocean Heights Avenue in Egg Harbor Township in Atlantic County. Open from sunrise to sunset.
