Where to Buy Your Girl Scout Cookies in New Jersey & Why

Yes, it’s that time again. It’s Girl Scout Cookie time. Yes, I was a Girl Scout. Yes, before being a wife, before being a mom to boys, I was a Girl Scout Leader. I was a Girl Scout Adult Delegate who traveled to a National Convention. I was a Girl Scout Wider Op Leader who co-lead girls on a grand 3-week adventure across North Carolina.

I believe strongly in what Girl Scouts stands for. I believe strongly in their mission and the opportunities it provides for young girls and women. I have seen shy little Kindergartener girls become amazing intelligent women. So when that young girl comes to you, asking you to buy a box of cookies, you aren’t just buying cookies, you are buying this…

Girl Scout Cookie Sales have certainly changed. I remember when we weren’t even allowed to talk about cookie sales over the Internet. Now, Facebook, Twitter, and potentially FourSquare will be used to help Girl Scout Cookie Sales. In fact, while doing this research I came across this Girl Scout site where not only can you find upcoming Girl Scout Cookies Booth Sales by  zip code, but also there is an app for that. Yes, there is an app for Girls Scout Cookies. Go check it out!

What is your favorite Girl Scout cookie?

This is a great resource and a way to help those adorable girls sell their cookies. Thanks for putting it together.

I’m looking for a troop for my 5 year old god daughter to join. Anyone know how to get into contact for any of the troop leaders in the Bayonne/Jersey City/Hoboken area? We live closer to Bayonne, but she’s turning 6 in May, and I grew up as a girl scout, and would love to instill the Girl Scout beliefs in her starting at a young age. Please email me if you have any info. I’ve searched all over the internet, and all I can find are the websites to the main offices, but not who I can speak to directly. Thank you! bev_youngberg82@hotmail.com
