The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia Hotel Review

While typically we review a hotel for its family-friendliness, this hotel stay was different. When we were invited by the Logan Hotel for a stay my husband and I took advantage of the opportunity to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary with our first night away from the kids.

The Logan Hotel is close enough to home that we could get back quickly if we needed, yet far enough to feel like we were getting away.

When we checked in we were blown away by the modern look of the lobby. Unique sculptures, inviting seating, and exquisite art encouraged us to linger for a little longer before going to our room. Using the Logan Hotel app, we could explore the art through a self-guided tour of the Logan Hotel art collection.

I could not have asked for a better location for our room. From our Logan Hotel room, we had a beautiful view of the Logan Fountain surrounded by some of Philly’s best attractions like the Academy of Natural Sciences and the Franklin Institute.

The view from our room was incredible.

Our Logan Hotel room was spacious and luxurious. The king bed was soft and comfortable. We could have slept all morning. With a late checkout, we almost did.

Instead, we pulled ourselves together for breakfast downstairs at the Urban Farmer Philadelphia restaurant. The restaurant treated us to a complimentary breakfast. Urban Farmer prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients and authentic, straightforward preparations in their kitchen. You can learn more at their site, urbanfarmerrestaurant.com/philadelphia. We had a tough time deciding between all the enticing breakfast options. Eventually, I decided on the farm eggs with crispy potato, bacon, and toast and my husband selected the buttermilk pancakes with local blueberry preserve and Pennsylvania Maple Syrup. We were not disappointed. The Urban Farmer was a delicious upscale breakfast option we enjoyed.

While it may have only been a night, we certainly enjoyed our stay at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia. We look forward to a return visit with our boys where we can show you what makes the Logan Hotel not only great for couples, but also for families.
