TD Bank Summer Reading Program
The TD Bank Summer Reading Program runs May 15, 2017, through August 31, 2017.
It doesn’t matter if you belong to a library summer reading program or if you just like to read. Your kids can earn $10 each for reading if they have the will to read and track their work. The payoff is that you can show kids the benefit of summer reading to keep their reading skills sharp. I’ve done this with my children the last two years and it is a great program! Summer reading is an important part of the bridge to your child’s reading skills.
The TD Bank Summer Reading program is simple, but you do have to be a TD Bank account holder (Young Savers Account).
Participating is easy:
- Read 10 books this summer.
- Print out the Summer Reading Form.
- Write down the names of the books they’ve read
- Take the form to the nearest TD Bank
- Receive $10 in a new or existing Young Saver account
I like that this summer reading program also teaches children about saving their money. My kids at 5 and 6 years of age are just learning to understand the concept of money. They struggle with wanting things and also needing to save for things. Every year we have a small bank that is for a special toy. Each year in the spring we use all the money we saved in this one bank for something new that they have been waiting for. They always like to use their summer reading money towards this prize.
$10 will be deposited into a new or existing Simple Savings account when coupon is presented at a TD Bank location. One coupon per customer during the promotional period. One $10 offer per reader. Cannot be combined with any other offer and cannot be redeemed online or by phone. Valid May 15, 2017 through August 31, 2017, for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Offer valid in the United States only and must be redeemed by August 31, 2017.
